This might sound really silly, but I hadn't really thought how complicated my craft is!
While I was cutting out a new creation, I started counting the bits. Here they are. All twenty of them. And one of those will be cut into two. This bit takes up to half an hour, including carefully choosing fabrics.
(I'm wishing I'd used a brighter fabric to demonstrate this, but hey, whatcha gonna do?!)
About two hours of pressing, sewing, tidying up the loose threads, choosing a button and sewing it on, and it's ready!
I think it looks rather nice, too.
Now, this morning I find myself pondering new photographs, so I'm off with a step ladder and a basket of bags to find a pretty tree. Watch this space for the results!
I buy pretty fabrics and make stuff...
