I've been Christmas shopping! For myself! From the comfort of my kitchen table, at Fabric Inspirations where they're offering free delivery up until Christmas! Great news for sew-ists! Go and visit if you like funky, interesting, different and beautiful prints: from linens to corduroys to quilting fabrics....
There are some FABULOUS new prints available, and I'm so excited I almost fell of my chair when I saw some of them. My favourite features books...you'll have to watch this space! New bags for the new year in new fabrics...I can't wait! Come on, postie!
Thank you to everyone who entered my wise old owl competition, and to those of you who shared, extra special thanks. Louise, I'll email you this evening to tell you how to claim your £20 voucher.
There were some great answers there, especially in the quests - you made me chuckle AND gave me design thoughts - big smiles all round!
Everyone who entered will be receiving an email shortly, and if you missed out this time, keep watching this space; I might just run another little competition soon!
PS, I'm sorry to be a little late announcing the winner - circumstances were not favourable this week I'm afraid. But I got there in the end!
I've been busy finishing off custom orders for a while, but now I'm done it's time to play!
As part of my mission to use up my fabric stash, I had to buy new lining. And as part of my preparations for new things in the new year, I'm trying out a new, stiffer, linen mix lining. And I love it! It's not too stiff, so little old Novum can cope with it easily, but it's really firm, so it gives this bright bauble-y bag a fabulously structured finish.
This bag reminds me so much of baubles, I might actually have to hang it on my tree when I get one...
I buy pretty fabrics and make stuff...
